Why chose coconut oil for dry hair and dandruff? Well, in recent years,  more and more women complain not about the oiliness of their hair, but its dryness. Dry hair is not only associated with age (it is known that after 40 hair becomes drier and lifeless), but most likely with air pollution, an abundance of chemical styling products, hair coloring, perms, etc. Dandruff forms when yeast grows on the scalp which makes it itchy and flaky.

Why Coconut OIl for Dry Hair?

Coconut oil (this is the one I highly recommend) is one of the most popular oils, which proves to be very effective. It is a natural, non allergic oil that is excellent for your hair, nails, skin and body. As a universal natural beauty product, it has been used since ancient times in the countries of South-East Asia. It’s especially popular in India and Thailand.  Rich in protein, fatty acids, vitamins B and C, zinc, potassium, iron, coconut oil is one of the best means of getting rid of dry hair forever. Coconut contains medium-chain fatty acids (MCFAs) that soak quickly into the hair follicles and scalp. Vitamin E, Lauric acidand capric acid in coconut oil helps restructure hair and makes it shiny.
