  1. I have been drinking lemon in water first thing every morning for the last couple months. I am excited about all the health benefits. I have also been adding coconut oil to my cup of coffee that I begin sipping as soon as I am done with my lemon water. I have a couple questions. Should I be waiting a period of time before drinking my coffee after the lemon water? And also, I would like to incorporate ACV and local honey in my daily routine. I have seen several sites that suggest adding it to the warm lemon water in the am but I’m not sure that overloading my system with so many things might affect the potency of the ingredients? Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Blessings!

    • Hi Beth! It’s recommended to wait 30 minutes before you start drinking coffee or eating food. I would take ACV with honey separately. You can add one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to one glass of water and sip with each meal.

    • Always rinse after with water with a little baking soda. I keep a bottle with the mixture on my bathroom sink. This rinse breaks the acid in the mouth. It amazes me that Dentists don’t say this. Thankfully mine did.

    • Hi Barb! Lemon juice from concentrate lacks the nutritional value of fresh squeezed lemon juice. It has to do with the heating during the extraction process.

  4. I would like to get my husband to drink this, too, but he only drinks lime in his water. Do limes give the same health benefits?
