Having beautiful, blemish free skin is greatly coveted by all women. In today’s world of fancy magazines with airbrushed models whose skin is sheer perfection, we cannot help but to want to be like them. For magazine models, airbrushing does an effective job of making them look perfect, but the truth is, your skin can also look perfect naturally if you just take care of yourself from the inside out. No magic cream can radically transform your outside look if your body is polluted from the inside.

You must understand that beautiful skin is a reflection of your overall health condition (which is probably why we find it attractive). However,  in order to achieve this you need clean blood to bring nutrients to the cells in your body. Thus, without a healthy diet, no matter what you do, your skin will not have that healthy natural glow. Once you make changes to your diet, you can resort to the topical cleansing of your skin (such as oil cleansing).

How to Get Picture Perfect Skin with Oil Cleansing

Oil cleansing is a way of washing your skin with just one ingredient – natural oil such as castor oil, olive oil, or coconut oil.  Oil is used to get oil out of your skin. Basically, oil is used to dissolve oil.  It may sound like an oxymoron, but it is the best way to replenish your skin with oil (which is essential for healthy skin). Oil helps to remove dirt from your skin and is very effective in treating acne as the clean oil replaces the dirty oil, thus naturally balancing out your skin.

Method

  1. Find a suitable oil (or combination of oils) for your skin. This can be jojoba, castor oil, coconut oil, or olive oil.
  2. Massage the oil into your face. Put some oil into the palm of your hands. Rub your hands together and slowly massage the oil onto your skin using a circular motion. Do this for a few minutes. Massaging will help to open your pores and push out the dirt.
  3. Steam your skin. You can do this by steaming your face over a bowl of warm water for a couple of minutes or by applying a warm washcloth over your face until the washcloth cools off.
  4. Wipe your face and remove excess oil. Wipe everything off with your washcloth.

It might take you some time to find the perfect oil for your skin. If your skin it too oily, you might want to use more castor oil as it dries out your skin. If your skin is more on a dry side, use less castor oil and more olive oil, or jojoba oil.  It can also take a couple of weeks for your face to adjust. Be patient! The bottom line, oil cleansing will make your skin moisturized, rejuvenated and clean.
